Additionally, Surrey welcomes volunteers from various backgrounds, such as companies, schools, and community-based organizations, to contribute their time and talents.

The Benefits for Seniors

Surrey’s programs and services are designed to help seniors maintain their independence and well-being while living in their own homes, senior living facilities, or apartments. Some of the many benefits include:

  1. Low-cost, chef-prepared meals
  2. A Fitness Center tailored for older adults
  3. Exercise classes
  4. Personal Finance Management services

When to Join Surrey: Adults can become Surrey members at the age of 55. Volunteers of any age are welcome, with the caveat that students under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or teacher.

Membership Costs: Surrey membership costs only $50 per year, which is less than $5 per month.

Surrey Locations: Surrey has four convenient locations to serve our community: Devon, Broomall, Havertown, and Media.

The Surrey Academy: In addition to the services provided to seniors, Surrey also offers the Surrey Academy. This innovative program provides free education and support for family caregivers and those aspiring to become professional caregivers. The academy aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the best possible care for their loved ones or clients.
